Theoretical knowledge examination sitting in May cancelled (PPL/ATPL)

The PPL and ATPL theoretical knowledge examination sitting scheduled to be held at ICETRA 25 – 29 May 2020 has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to this, the examination sittings scheduled in June has been extended:

Private Pilot Licence (PPL)

· 18 and 23 June

Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)

· 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 June

Students that are running out of time due to the maximum of 18 month time allowed for theoretical knowledge exams and will be expiring on the allowed time during the period 01 April until 30 November 2020, have been given a temporary exemption from this requirement (FCL.025(b)(2)) to be able to pass all the required examination papers. For the students concerned, the time allowed for theoretical knowledge examinations is extended until 30 November 2020.
