Registration page for drone operators
The Icelandic Transport Authority (Icetra) has opened a registration page (www.flydrone.is) where drone operators have the opportunity to register, study course material and take the exam in subcategory A1/A3 for the open category. Upon successful completion of the examination, the applicant will be issued with a certificate of competency valid in all Member States of the European Union.
Registration fee is ISK 5.500 and is based on hourly charge of services by Icetra. After registering, it is possible to take the A1/A3 exam free of charge
