Fee-paying passengers
The Icelandic Transport Authority would like to inform those who intend to utilize the services of those offering flights to the eruption that only air operators with a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC) may charge a fee for flights, e.g. sightseeing flights over the eruption.
Drone flight and the volcano in Reykjanes
Now that the volcanic eruption has started again in Reykjanes, the Icelandic Transport Authority wants to, given the occasion, reaffirm the rules that apply to drone flights and are intended to ensure e.g. segregation of drones and other aircraft.
