EASA lays out its proposed conditions for return to service of the Boeing 737 MAX
EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) of which Iceland is a member, has today issued a press release regarding its actions and proposed conditions for the return to service of Boeing B737 MAX, which has been grounded since March 2019.

Unfortunately, due to current restrictions on gatherings in Iceland, the ATPL and PPL theoretical knowledge examinations scheduled to be held at ICETRA 27 November – 3 December 2020 have been postponed. New examination dates have already been announced with exams scheduled 7 – 11 December 2020.

The Brexit transition period will apply until 31 December 2020. As licences transfers from the UK CAA may take up to 3 months, ICETRA will not process applications for a licence transfer from the UK after 30 November.
