Data Protection Policy of the Icelandic Transport Authority
The Icelandic Transport Authority (ICETRA) manages and protects all personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
The processing of personal data by ICETRA is exercised on the basis of the statutory role of the Authority, pursuant to Act No. 119/2012 on the Icelandic Transport Authority (ICETRA), Administrative Institution for Transport Affairs.
ICETRA collects and stores essential personal data deriving from managing applications, surveillance, and issuing authorisations, relating to aviation, maritime and road traffic.
ICETRA manages and protects all personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
ICETRA personnel strive to ensure that the entire processing of personal data is fair, legitimate, and reliable, and that information security is guaranteed.
